CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL 2022 - ROAD CLOSURES

ROAD CLOSURES IN PLACE FOR THIS YEAR’S CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL

In order to safely organise this year’s Christmas Festival & Lights Switch-on in Godalming to be held on 26 November 2022, the following road closures will be in place for Saturday, 26 November 2022:

  • Church Street, High Street (from the junction with Queen Street) and connecting roads Pound Lane, Mint Street, Cow Lane, Moss Lane and Great George Street shall be closed to all vehicular traffic, including pedal cycles, between the hours of 07.00 and 20.30, except for such traffic as is directed by a duly authorised police constable or officer.
  • Access for emergency vehicles shall be retained at all times.
  • The alternative route for traffic during the closure will be as directed by the Highway Authority, via Flambard Way.
