CONSULTATION

CONSULTATION – DO WE WANT THIS TELEPHONE BOX FOR OUR COMMUNITY?

Godalming Town Council has been offered the chance to take over the telephone box at Brighton Road and Crownpits Lane and is seeking community input.

If we don’t want it, it will be removed.

Have your say by completing the form below.  Responses required by 29 April 2025 please.

The options include:

  1. Defibrillator Station – similar to two other phone boxes in town which have been fitted with defibrillators.  Initial cost £1,800; £300 per annum thereafter.
  2. Book Library – close to a play area but requires volunteers for upkeep.  Initial cost £600.

Please consider whether a defibrillator is needed, if you’re willing to volunteer for a book library, or if this space could service another purpose.

Please tell us what you think:
