DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Godalming Operatic Society proudly presents Gilbert & Sullivan’s whimsical & witty satire on the aesthetic movement of the 19th Century\, ‘Patience’. Two poets\, Bunthorne and Grosvenor\, are rivals for the affections of the innocent milkmaid\, Patience. A phalanx of fashionably love-sick maidens and their former paramours; a Duke\, a Colonel and a Major\, with a regiment of officers of the Dragoon Guards\, completes the picture and sets the stage for the ensuing topsy-turvy action. \nGodalming Operatic Society is widely regarded as one of the country’s leading G&S societies and has performed in several international festivals.
