DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”” css_params=””]The Godalming Run and takes place on Sunday\, 18 May\, at the Phillips Memorial Park. The organisers are calling for runners of all ages and abilities to register for a Family Fun Run\, 5k\, or 10k race online at godalmingrun.co.uk. \nTo find out more or to register\, please visit the Godalming Run website. \nChallenging 5k & 10k races through the countryside and around Godalming in the heart of the Surrey Hills\, including a section through the grounds of Charterhouse public school\, so picture postcard stuff\, plus there is a great Family Fun Run for the kids. \nThe Godalming run was first established as part of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations in 2012 and to celebrate the London Olympics. Since then\, we have attracted thousands of entrants and have raised over £17\,000 for the Sport Godalming Champions Fund\, Go for Gold\, which supports local Godalming-based athletes in their bid for Olympic stardom. \nThis year’s run is sponsored by Charterhouse Club. \n£6.00 – Family Fun Run (all persons participating in this race\, including accompanying adults\, must register) \n£15.00 – 5k Race \n£20.00 – 10k Race \n \nPhoto Courtesy of Phil Kemp \n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
