DESCRIPTION:Join us for an inspiring public talk by Sister Jane Bertelsen\, Congregational Leader of the Franciscan Missionaries of the Divine Motherhood (FMDM) on the subject of Ladywell: a Global Journey of Faith:- The Life and Mission of the Franciscan Sisters on Saturday\, 23 November 2024 starting at 10.15am to 12.00 Noon at The Franciscan Centre Ladywell\, Godalming\, Surrey. \nSister Jane will share the rich history of FMDM and introduce us to Ladywell\, the serene Motherhouse nestled in the Surrey countryside near Godalming that serves as a centre of Franciscan life and spirituality. \nDrawing from her extensive travels across nine countries\, she will offer a unique global perspective on the sisters’ mission and community. She will also delve into the profound spirituality of St. Francis and St. Clare of Assisi\, which continues to shape and guide the sisters’ work worldwide.
