The Three Lions in Farncombe near Godalming is staging an all-day music festival to support The Fire Fighters’ Charity on Sunday 6 May.
There are 12 acts taking to two stages at the pub, which hosts live music every weekend at their renowned and long-established ‘Scratchers’ music venue. This one-day festival will showcase a range of music from blues and rock, through to folk, punk and pop – and all from professional musicians who are all giving their time free to benefit our wonderful fire fighters at their time of personal need.
The Fire Fighters’ Charity has been supporting the fire services community for 75 years and provides life enhancing support to the whole fire and rescue community and their families. The charity provides services including health and well-being, nursing, recuperation, advice and family support for fire and rescue professionals who have experienced unforeseen life-changing events whilst working on the front line.
The band stage features a great line-up of accomplished bands – The Nefarious Picaroons, ELTEL, The Ribs, Bemis, The Sid James Experience and Cryin’ Out Loud. And on the solo stage you can enjoy great performances from Charlie Austen, Louise Coles, Dragonfly Sky, Jim Cozens, Claudia Stark and Allan Broad.
