SUMMARY:Our Other Mother Project Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] \n\n\n\nWhat Next? the Mayor’s Charity for 2022/23 will be hosting an exhibition at Godalming Museum from Wednesday\, 3 May to Wednesday\, 31 May 2023 (Museum opening times can be found here).  The exhibition will showcase artwork produced by people in and around Godalming depicting ‘Our Other Mother’ and will be available for purchase.  Monies raised will be apportioned out between Godalming Museum\, Art-venture and the Mayor’s Charity What Next? \n\nThe Mayor\, Cllr Shirley Faraday\, asked the question “Can you imagine the Earth as ‘Our Other Mother’?” and invited schools\, groups and anyone else who was interested to participate by creating something for the exhibition depicting the Earth as our Other Mother. \n\nYou are invited to come along to the exhibition to see the results that have been provided by various people/groups. \n\n  \n\n  \n\n \n\n  \n\n  \n\n  \n\n  \n\n  \n\n  \n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

SUMMARY:Music in the Park Whitleys Jewellers' Concert
DESCRIPTION:Go Godalming Association presents this week’s Music in the Park concert featuring Big and Brassy. \n\n\n\nMusic in the Park concerts take place every Sunday afternoon (unless otherwise stated) and run from 30 April through to 17 September 2023.  Please visit their website for more information. \n\n\n\nAll concerts are free – why not bring your own garden chairs and a picnic! \n\n\n\nIn the event of very wet weather\, concerts will be held in the nearby Godalming Parish Church. \n\n\n\nVoluntary donations are requested at concerts via collections run by volunteers.
