DESCRIPTION:The Godalming Run and takes place on Sunday\, 19May\, at the Phillips Memorial Park. The organisers are calling for runners of all ages and abilities to register for a Family Fun Run\, 5k\, or 10k race online at godalmingrun.co.uk. \nTo find out more or to register\, please visit the Godalming Run website. \nChallenging 5k & 10k races through the countryside and around Godalming in the heart of the Surrey Hills\, including a section through the grounds of Charterhouse public school\, so picture postcard stuff\, plus there is a great Family Fun Run for the kids. \nThe Godalming run was first established as part of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations in 2012 and to celebrate the London Olympics. Since then\, we have attracted thousands of entrants and have raised over £17\,000 for the Sport Godalming Champions Fund\, Go for Gold\, which supports local Godalming-based athletes in their bid for Olympic stardom. \nThis year’s run is sponsored by Charterhouse Club. \n£6.00 – Family Fun Run (all persons participating in this race\, including accompanying adults\, must register) \n£12.00 – 5k Race \n£18.00 – 10k Race \n \nPhoto Courtesy of Phil Kemp

DESCRIPTION:Go Godalming Association presents this week’s Music in the Park concert featuring Rock Choir and Acoustic Duo. \n\n\n\nMusic in the Park concerts take place every Sunday afternoon (unless otherwise stated) and run from 5 May through to 15 September 2024. Please visit their website for more information. \n\n\n\nAll concerts are free – why not bring your own garden chairs and a picnic! \n\n\n\nIn the event of very wet weather\, concerts will be held in the nearby Godalming Parish Church. \n\n\n\nVoluntary donations are requested at concerts via collections run by volunteers. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
