SUMMARY:Community Epilepsy Coffee Morning
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”” css_params=””]The Meath is holding a free community epilepsy coffee morning on Saturday\, 22 March 2025 at The Hive Café\, onsite at The Meath at 10.00am to 12.00 Noon.  The event is free\, but attendees will need to pre book due to The Meath’s adult safeguarding requirements. \nThis coffee morning is an opportunity for members of the local community whose lives are affected by epilepsy to access some peer to peer support and the morning will be facilitated by Meath Epilepsy Nurse Lisa O’Brien who will be on hand to knowledge share\, signpost and will be bring along some useful recourses.  Living with epilepsy can be confusing\, tiring and sadly at times scary\, we are proud to support those in our care at The Meath\, but are also extremely proud to be a part of the wider community and are pleased to welcome any members of our local community who may benefit from the coffee morning. \nTo register your free place please visit the Community Epilepsy Coffee Morning \n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”” css_params=””]Eashing Cemetery Community Garden is supporting the local Brownies this month on some planting projects PLUS a cake sale fundraiser on Saturday\, 22 March 2025 at 2.00pm-4.00pm at the guide hut on Seymour Road\, Godalming GU7 2LE. \nDid you know\, compared to other young people\, Girlguiding girls are 35% more likely to have helped improve their local area or the environment?  This is one of the many reasons the Eashing Cemetery Community Garden has teamed up with the local group to help improve the biodiversity of the area. \nSo\, please join us on the 22 March – at the same time as having something tasty\, you will be supporting their wonderful community work. \n \nEashing Cemetery Community Garden & Orchard is a joint initiative between Waverley Borough Council\, Godalming Town Council\, Thakeham Homes\, COPSE (Community Orchard Project  South East) and Roots for the Future. \nRegular volunteer sessions will be starting again when the clocks go forward.  Check out the Facebook events page for a variety of options to get involved.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
