REMEMBRANCE IN GODALMING
Remembrance Sunday 2022 is on Sunday, 13 November and is one of the most important events in the Civic year organised by Godalming Town Council. A service of Remembrance will be held at the Godalming Parish Church of St Peter & St Paul attended by the Mayor of Godalming’s civic party and representatives from community groups and organisations.
Following the service in the parish church, there will be an Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial in the Phillips Memorial Ground. Invitees will include representatives from the town’s civic and political leaders, faith groups and other community organisations who will be invited to take part in the laying of wreaths.

On completion of the Act of Remembrance, the Parade will form.
If you have served in Her Majesty’s forces, we would be delighted to see you take part in the Remembrance Parade on 13 November. Medals to be worn. If you would like to parade on behalf of a relative who has served, please join the parade; medals to be worn on the right-hand breast pocket.
