Update to Temporary Change to Bus Service 42 due to Road Closure in Hascombe 5 August – 29 August
Thames Water has postponed the works which would affect Bus Service 42 until it has had the opportunity to meet with the Parish Council to discuss how best to proceed.
This work Thames Water wishes to undertake must be completed before year end and from a safety point of view before the cold weather hits as this main has suffered 9 bursts in the last 5 years.
Therefore, Thames Water has requested that the usual bus service is maintained until this issue has been resolved. We will update once a new date has been scheduled.
