Conservatoire Concerts presents its concert on Saturday, 18 May 2024, at 7.00pm at the Godalming Baptist Church, Queen Street, Godalming GU7 1BA.
The concert features a Violin and Piano Duo, comprising of Boglarka Gyorky (violin) and Amy Butler (piano). Their programme will include the following works:
Johannes Brahms: Sonata for violin and piano, No. 2 in A major, Op. 100
Amy Beach: Romance for violin and piano, Op. 23
Miklos Rozsa: Variations on a Hungarian Peasant Song, Op. 4
Edvard Grieg: Sonata for violin and piano, No. 2 in G major, Op. 13
Igor Frolov: Concert Fantasie on Themses from Gershwin’s Porgy & Bexx, Op. 19
