Godalming’s Day of Peace
Join us for a secular celebration of peace hosted by Cllr Adam Duce, the Mayor of Godalming on Friday, 10 November 2023. There is a full programme of events:
All Day – Peace Exhibition – A small exhibition highlighting peace celebrations from Godalming’s past.
10.00am Speak Up, Speak Out – A workshop for King’s College Guildford with the University of Surrey’s Widening Participation and Outreach Team
10.30am Opening & Welcome – The Event will be opened by the Lord Lieutenant of Surrey and the Mayor of Godalming – Everyone welcome.
2.00pm Peace Crafts – Craft Workshop on the theme of ‘Peace’. Booking details here
6.30pm Poetry for Peace – Readings by members of the local community inspired by the theme of Peace. Free tickets, donations appreciated. Booking details here
