Remembrance Sunday 2020 is on Sunday, 8 November but, as with many other public occasions, the Godalming Remembrance Day Parade and Service will not be able to be held in the same way as in previous years. Unfortunately, in order to reduce the risk of spreading the COVID-19 virus, it will not be feasible to hold the ‘traditional’ Remembrance Day Parade in its usual format.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION – In the light of the higher restrictions that come into force on the 5 November, Godalming Town Council will sadly not be able to hold the Town’s Remembrance Parade or Service at St Peter & St Paul’s Church. However, the Mayor will lay a tribute at the War Memorial and honour those from the town who have served or are serving.

Plans are subject to change by Government Guidance and Godalming Town Council is keeping this under review.
