Mayor of Godalming’s Pancake Races

The Mayor of Godalming’s pancake races will be held in Crown Court, Godalming on Shrove Tuesday, which this year falls on Tuesday, 28 February 2017.  This is the 21st year of the races; they were held first in 1996.

The races are sponsored by The Charterhouse Club.

Any children wishing to take part in the races should turn up at Crown Court at 12.30pm; all participants will receive a small prize and certificate from the Mayor of Godalming, Councillor David Hunter.  A short shriving service will be held at the end of the races.
