Godalming Museum – Summer Exhibitions & Events
Godalming Museum will be holding the following exhibitions/events through the summer for 2023:
14 June to 9 July – Broadwater & Charterhouse Schools – This fascinating exhibition highlights the skills and talents of the students at Broadwater School and Charterouse. Curated by the schools’ art departments, the works selected have been produced by young artists of various ages and in various media.
2 July – Facepainting (Part of Godalming Food Festival) – Pop along to the museum to get your face painted to celebrate the Godalming Food Festival. Find out more about the festival.
27 July – Wine Tasting Evening with Hawkins Brothers – Tickets £30 – Enjoy a delightful summer evening in the museum’s walled garden sampling a selection of fine English wines with the Hawkins Brothers. The wines will be paired with a selection of sweet and savoury nibbles. Please contact the museum to book.
12 to 30 July – Godalming Photographic Club’s Summer Exhibition – Godalming Photographic Club’s annual photography exhibition will be held at Godalming Museum from Wednesday, 12 – Sunday, 30 July. Why not come along and vote for your favourite image and enjoy the images on display?
2 August to 24 September – Under the Sea – Our family-friendly summer exhibition will look at live under the sea, and the impact that the oceans have on our world. We will have plenty of trails and activities to get involved with, and fascinating children’s books available to read. In partnership with Haslemere Educational Museum.
Godalming Museum is open Wednesdays to Saturdays 10am – 4pm, and Sundays 11am- 3pm.
