Spring is in the Air
The Spring Festival organised by Godalming Town Council takes place in Godalming Town Centre on Saturday 1st April 2017. Now in its 7th year, the festival has become a regular event in the town’s calendar with support from the Godalming & District Chamber of Commerce.
This year’s Spring Festival is set to be a real treat with live music and entertainment at Godalming’s iconic Pepperpot. Punch & Judy shows, children’s activities and a ride on the popular Dobby Horse Carousel are all on offer to keep the children amused.
A variety of street food and drink vendors, including a Cider festival in Church Street, will be available, as well as Godalming’s shops and hostelries throughout the town centre. Godalming’s superb Museum and shop will be open to visitors; there will also be a wide variety of crafts and gifts stalls displaying colourful wares and the Farmers’ Market producers will be showcasing their locally-sourced or home grown produce.
No spring festival would be complete without Morris Dancing and Godalming’s own Fleur de Lys Morris Dancers will be performing for your delight during the day.
