SPRING FESTIVAL


Godalming Town Council invites you to Spring into Godalming on Saturday, 5 April, 2024 10-4pm

Alt=" "Celebrate the new season with a great day out in one of Surrey’s prettiest towns!  Stroll amongst the stalls in the town centre, sample an array of mouth-watering artisan street food and drink including Paella, Thai BBQ, Hog Roast, local honeys, gins and rums as well as browsing the craft and gift stalls.  Enjoy entertainment throughout the day at the iconic pink Pepperpot at the top of the High Street.

CIRCO RUM BA BA

Godalming Town Council is delighted to announce the return of the extraordinary Circo Rum Ba Ba, who will be bringing their lavishly dressed Restoration Ladies on Stilts to Godalming.  You can find them performing around the town at 10.30am-11.15am and 1.15pm-2.00pm.

Rise and Shine!   Bring your little ones to The Pepperpot to wake up with Sing-O-Lingo’s Sabrina and shake off those early morning blues.

Fun starts at 10.00am

Enjoy some sterling performances including ChoirBLAST and more.

FREE PUNCH & JUDY SHOWS

Punch &Judy have been entertaining audiences in the UK for nearly 360 years. Professor Joe Burns is one of the leading Punch & Judy performers on the south coast, mixing the traditional elements of the show we know and love, and bringing them up to date.

Punch & Judy will be performing outside The Fox & Finch at 11.00am, 12.00 Noon and 2.00pm.

MORRIS DANCING

Enjoy quintessentially spring Morris dancing by Godalming’s very own Morris Dancers, Fleur de Lys, who will be performing at 12.00 Noon and 2.00pm in Crown Court and 1.15pm at The Pepperpot.

HAVE A GO AT WEAVING

Meet Fiona from Shuttle & Float who will be inviting you to have a go at weaving on her loom in Church Street.

FACEPAINTING WITH ST HILARY’S SCHOOL

Visit St Hilary’s School’s stall in the high street for bee-related facepainting and a craft activity.

Godalming Town Council’s Youth Service will be in town with their Youth Mobile with some free, fun activities.
