Godalming Town Council invites you to Spring into Godalming on Saturday, 2 April, 2022 10-4pm
Celebrate the new season with a great day out in one of Surrey’s prettiest towns! Stroll amongst the stalls in the town centre, enjoy an array of mouth-watering artisan street food and drink, local Farmers producers’ stalls including a traditional hog roast. Enjoy entertainment all day at the iconic pink Pepperpot at the top of the High Street.
For the children, there is face-painting, the Dobby Horse Carousel and free Punch & Judy Shows. For the grown-ups, the award-winning Star public house located in Church Street is holding a Cider Festival where you will find more artisan stalls.
FREE PUNCH & JUDY SHOWS
Punch and Judy have been entertaining audiences in the UK for nearly 360 years. Professor Joe Burns is one of the leading Punch & Judy performers on the south coast, mixing the traditional elements of the show we know and love, and bringing them up to date.
Punch & Judy will be performing in Crown Court at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
Meet Molly Moocow!
Molly Moocow, a small independent local business offering music and movement classes for little ones aged 5 months-4 years, will be kicking off the Spring Festival at 10.00am.
Molly’s unique, fun-filled programmes give little people the opportunity to discover the important link between play, music and learning. And, most importantly, it’s great fun! Come and join us for some Moosical fun 10.00am at The Pepperpot.
CIRCO RUM BA BA
Circo Rum Ba Ba is coming to town with a performance of one of their most popular shows. They will be performing outside The Red Lion at 12.00 noon and The Pepperpot at 2.00pm.

Enjoy quintessentially spring Morris dancing by Godalming’s very own Morris Dancers – Fleur de Lys who will be performing at 12.30pm and 2.00pm in Crown Court and 1.15pm outside The Red Lion.
At 3.00pm at The Pepperpot Fleur De Lys, joined by the Mayflower Dancers from Ash Vale, The Pilgrims from Guildford and the Victory Morris Dancers from Portsmouth, will be giving a special performance in memory of well-known local artist Stephen Goddard.
