STREET FURNITURE
ABOUT STREET FURNITURE
Street furniture is the collective term for bus stops, benches, litter bins, noticeboards, railings and other fixtures in what we call the “public realm” by which we mean they are in the open, on the street.
WHO LOOKS AFTER STREET FURNITURE?
Responsibility for street furniture is not a simple matter. Godalming’s bins, benches and bus stops could be the responsibility of Godalming Town Council, Waverley Borough Council or Surrey County Council.
Contact us if you have a query about a specific item of street furniture; we should be able to point you in the right direction.
NEW STREET FURNITURE
If you feel an area could benefit from a bin, bench or a new bus shelter, please let us know.
HOW TO REPORT A PROBLEM
Contact us to report a problem with a bin, bench or bus shelter, etc., and we will pass it on to the correct organisation.
