MAYOR'S VOLUNTEER AWARD
This Award was first presented in 2005 in recognition of local people carrying out a voluntary service in Godalming for the benefit of the community of Godalming Town.
Each year a press release is issued in the local press asking for nominations in writing and the recipients are selected from these and presented with a framed certificate and small token of gratitude at Godalming Town Council’s Annual Town Meeting. Their names are also placed on an Honour Board which is displayed in the Wilfrid Noyce Centre.
