Godalming Town Council is delighted to invite you to kick-start your festive season by taking part in our new Christmas Light Procession on Sunday, 24 November.
Meet at Crown Court at 4.30pm wearing your sparkliest Christmas jumpers and carrying your Christmas lanterns (no naked flames). The Mayor of Godalming will host a dedication service at the Memory Tree, Crown Court at 4.30pm. Bring your tags in memory of your loved ones to hang on the tree.
TAKE PART IN THE PROCESSION
Join with the Godalming Band, Rock Choir, Godalming Theatre Group Panto stars, Godalming School of Dance, Milford & Brook School of Dance and the Ice Prince and Princess to follow the Round Table’s illuminated Santa’s Sleigh. Watch the town’s Christmas lights illuminate as the procession makes it way from Crown Court to Church Street.
The Band and the Rock Choir will lead the Christmas singing in Church Street, after which residents are warmly invited to join in a short carol service in the Minster Church of St Peter & St Paul.
The Christmas Festival Market will take place on Saturday, 30 November.
