CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL 2023
GODALMING TOWN COUNCIL'S CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL AND LIGHTS SWITCH-ON 2023 WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, 25 NOVEMBER 10.00AM-5.30PM.
There will be music and entertainment all day long at The Pepperpot and Godalming’s dazzling lights will be switched on by special guests at 5.00pm.

Godalming Town Council invites you to visit Godalming and enjoy this year’s Christmas Festival on Saturday, 25 November from 10am to 5.30pm.
Spend the day in one of the prettiest towns in Surrey where you’ll find lots of stalls for all your Christmas present ideas in the High Street and Church Street as well as traditional Christmas Food. Buy a handcrafted gift, jewellery or decorations from a local producer and sample yummy foodie treats.
The festival is free to enter so browse around the town and soak up the festive atmosphere. Enjoy delicious artisan street food and drink as you also visit the superb range of independent shops who will be set to welcome you. Visit our Memory Tree in Crown Court and tie a tag in memory of your loved ones.

FESTIVE ENTERTAINMENT AT THE PEPPERPOT
Enjoy a programme of entertainment at The Pepperpot including the little ones from the Wharf Nursery School, Moss Lane Infant School. Enjoy another sterling Rock Choir performance and the Godalming Band who will be helping us light up Godalming. Please stay and enjoy some Christmas singing after the lights go on.

There will be a packed programme of entertainment all day long at The Pepperpot and around the town including:
Visit Santa at the Godalming Museum (FOC). You can post a letter to Lapland or give it to him in person
Santa’s Helpers from Godalming Theatre Group will be on hand joint by Chief Elf Holly
Santa will be giving away little gifts to visitors – kindly sponsored by The Peter Caudle Memorial Trust and Priory Antiques
Find Leena the Facepainter at Godalming Museum from 11.00am
The Tesla will be in town Tesla@Christmas, see the Christmas Light Show, try the arcade games, listen to the boom box!
The 2nd Godalming Scout Group will be offering a gift-wrapping service for your purchases to help with their fundraising

The town’s dazzling Christmas lights will be switched on by Godalming Theatre Group’s Panto Princess in a sparkling ceremony at The Pepperpot

SANTA’S GROTTO
Visit Santa in the Godalming Museum Garden (from 10am – 4pm), accessible via the rear entrance off South Street Car Park where as well as meeting Santa, you will be able to write a Christmas Wish Letter and post it in the Post Box which will be mailed to Reindeer Land.

Please note the last facepainting session and entry to Santa’s Grotto will be at 3.30pm.
FARNCOMBE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS
Farncombe Christmas Lights Switch-on will take place on Friday, 1 December at the Farncombe Day Centre, 4.30pm – Lights on at 5.00pm. Farncombe Infant School children will be singing some Christmas songs and Santa’s sleigh will be arriving in style!
