YOUTH WORK MANAGER – GODALMING
Full-time 37.5 hours per week, JNC 17-20 £33,141 – £34,547, with additional London Fringe

Godalming Youth Service, part of Godalming Town Council, opened in 2022. The service has grown beyond expectation, making a tangible difference to young people and the community.
The goal of the youth service is to support young people in Godalming by providing high-quality youth work. The main provision currently consists of the following:
- Broadwater Youth Centre is open every weekday afternoon and evening, offering a diverse range of youth programmes.
- The Mobile Youth Project provides mobile, detached and outreach youth work four-five afternoons per week, and in-school youth work.
- School Holiday Programmes are provided during every major school holiday and during many half-term weeks.

We are now looking for a JNC Level 6 qualified ‘Youth Work Manager’ to support the continued growth and development of Godalming Youth Service. The Youth Work Manager will manage youth work delivery and community-related projects promoting the personal, educational, creative and social development of young people.
They will be responsible for managing Youth Support Workers, supporting, and developing them to ensure that all youth activities stay safe, welcoming and effective.
It is an exciting opportunity, and the Youth Work Manager will play a pivotal role in strengthening and developing opportunities for Godalming’s youth.

MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT
Full Time, Permanent Position – 37 hours per week £25,584 – £27,711 pa depending on experience – Mon-Fri 08.00 – 16.30 (with seasonal flexibility)
Godalming Town Council is looking for someone to join its maintenance team to help look after the Council’s, properties, including Community Centres, Godalming Museum and other public buildings, assist with grounds maintenance during busy periods and supporting town events such as the Remembrance Parade and Fireworks night.
